UCN Employee Awarded Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal

(Winnipeg, MB) – University College of the North’s (UCN) employee, Tara Manych, was awarded Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal.
The Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal celebrates the 70th anniversary year of Queen Elizabeth’s accession to the throne and was hosted by Lieutenant Governor Anita Neville and Premier Heather Stefanson.

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal (Manitoba) program honours significant contributions and achievements throughout Manitoba, with a strong focus on community-mindedness, service, and reconciliation.

Tara Manych is an instructor with the Kenanow Bachelor of Education and Information Technology Readiness North (InTeRN) program. She is also the principal of the Kelsey Learning Centre, which is located at UCN’s campus in The Pas.
