Start your career in the automotive industry with our 10-month hands-on preemployment program. Students will learn about career opportunities, automotive technology and automotive system repair, while acquiring the technical and practical skills that employers are looking for.
Program Overview
This 10-month preemployment Automotive Service Technician program will explore potential Automotive career opportunities and the roles and responsibilities of each. Also, students will be introduced to the various Automobile systems (purpose, identification, operation and repair). Topics ranging from engines, brakes, battery electric vehicles and everything in between will be covered. For complete details of the automobile systems covered refer to the Academic Calendar. Upon program completion students will be prepared to enter the automotive industry in an entry level position.
