I joined UCN in 2023 as an instructor in the Natural Resources Management Technology (NRMT) program. With a diverse background in Manitoba’s natural resource sector, particularly in forestry and wildfire management, I aim to provide students with a broad range of practical field experiences and opportunities to connect with professionals in government and industry.

My teaching approach blends traditional field skills with an emphasis on modern technology, helping prepare field- and tech-savvy technicians for a modern natural resource workforce.

I am an active and engaged member of both UCN and the community of The Pas. I place a strong emphasis on applied learning and creating opportunities for students to work in real-world settings, allowing them to apply their skills while contributing to local initiatives and strengthening relationships between UCN and the communities we serve.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg and a Natural Resources Management Technology diploma. I am currently a Master of Education candidate at the University of Calgary.
