UCN Shines, meet  Sarah Moore-George

Sarah Moore-George
Introducing:Sarah Moore-George
Job Title: Diploma in Practical Nursing Instructor and Thompson Site Coordinator
Years with UCN:2.5

Sarah George-Moore’s experience at UCN has been both personally and professionally transformative. Initially hesitant about public speaking, she has now embraced her role as an educator. “I feel like in this role, it just came naturally for me to go up in front of a group of basically strangers because I love being a nurse. I love sharing my knowledge.” This growth has empowered her to address students confidently, turning her nerves into a fulfilling experience guiding future healthcare professionals.

Sarah’s dedication to teaching is fueled by her desire to give back to the community where she was born, raised, and educated. “I feel very grateful because this is where I obtained my education. I didn’t have to leave my community to go to school, and being able to do the same for others feels like I’m giving back in a sense, too.”

Sarah collaborates with UCN students and staff as the Thompson Site Coordinator and Instructor. She finds fulfillment in her position because she genuinely cares. “I like interacting with the students, and I love seeing them succeed. Ultimately, I think at the end of the day, it cements why I’m here and what I do, and I like the people I work with!”

UCN, together we shine!

I like interacting with the students, and I love seeing them succeed.
