Skylar Veuillot

Skylar Veuillot is a final-year Education student at the University College of the North. She is originally from Lac Brochet, also known as the Northlands First Nation in Manitoba. Growing up in a household deeply connected to the land, her father worked as a hunter and trapper, and her community emphasized the importance of passing cultural knowledge to younger generations.

Currently, she is enrolled in the Bachelor of Education program at the University College of the North in Thompson and holds a bachelor’s degree in Aboriginal and Northern Studies.
