Nichole Sanderson

Nichole Sanderson, originally from Peguis, Manitoba, is an artist on a journey of cultural rediscovery through the creation of traditional pieces, including earrings, skirts, mukluks and regalia. Growing up, Nichole felt disconnected from her culture, but art has become a powerful tool to reclaim her identity and honour her Indigenous roots. She hopes her work fosters pride and connection while sharing the beauty of Indigenous art with others.
