Students are welcome to join the sessions below as their schedule permits.

DAY 1 -Tuesday, September 3, 2024

8:00 am - 9:00 am
STUDENT/SPONSOR/PARENT/FACULTY/STAFF BREAKFAST
Location: UCN Gymnasium

9:00 am - 10:00 am
ORIENTATION ASSEMBLY
Location: UCN Gymnasium
Goal: Welcome new and returning students

10:00 am - 12:00 pm
INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM ORIENTATIONS
Location: See Individual Program Orientations Room Listing
Goal: Relationship building/program specific expectations

12:00 pm - 1:15 pm
STUDENT LUNCH & ENTERTAINMENT
Location: UCN Cafeteria.

1:15 pm - 3:45 pm
PASSPORT TO SUCCESS
Start Location: UCN Main Entrance Foyer
Finish Location: UCN Main Entrance Foyer
(health break at 2:15 - 2:45 pm, main entrance foyer)
Goal: Student preparation (e.g., registration, student cards, claim id, textbooks, etc.)/meet service providers
(e.g., academic advising, financial aid and awards, counselling, recreation and wellness, library, tutoring and accessibility, etc.)

LAND BASED ADVENTURE
Location: UCN West Side Lawn
(health break at 10:15 - 10:30 pm, main entrance foyer)
Goal: Fun team/relationship building exercises, introduction to Northern culture and experiential learning activities for students, faculty and staff

12:00 pm - 1:15 pm
STUDENT LUNCH

1:15 pm - 3:30 pm FITNESS FOR FUN
