Program Description:
- Duration: 3 weeks (Monday to Friday, 9 am – 4 pm)
- Focus on Workforce Readiness Skills
- A mix of Classroom and Experiential Learning
- Includes the use of Hands-On, Theory, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) Training
- Aimed at Developing Skilled, Safety-Focused Workers Ready for the Mining Industry
- Tuition and Materials Provided to accepted students

- Desire to acquire workplace readiness skills
- Are able to fully participate in this in-person training opportunity
Outcomes:
Upon completion, participants can expect:
- Enhanced worker confidence and preparedness for mining industry roles
- Graduates of the program will be accredited with a joint UCN/NORCAT certificate, which provides credentials recognized by the mining industry. This includes WHMIS, Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform, and Forklift operation.
- Students will gain transferrable skills that can be used across many industries.
