Duties

Reporting to the Solutions Architect, the Report Developer designs, develops, and maintains data-driven reports and dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making. The Report Developer will create and optimize reports, queries, views, tables, and data pipelines using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SSRS, and Insights; ensuring data integrity and managing report and data access permissions; and supporting ad hoc reporting, data analysis, and system integrations. The successful incumbent will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, documents reporting logic and data standards, participates in related working groups, assists with Softdocs and Ethos API integrations, and provides backup and client support for reporting solutions as needed

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Information Technology
• Experience with SQL Server (T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS) and PostgreSQL (PL/pgSQL, query optimization)
• Solid understanding of relational database design and data modeling
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power Bl, Tableau, SSRS or Crystal Reports.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Strong ability to organize, prioritize and execute tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management skills
• Commitment to life-long learning

Assets

• Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing. Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous cultures
