Reporting to the Electrician/Facility Manager, the Facilities and Maintenance Clerk supports the overall operation of campus facilities by coordinating daily activities of custodial and maintenance staff, managing work orders. The incumbent is responsible for monitoring inventory, preparing purchase requisitions, and event setups, and liaising with internal departments, contractors, and external service providers. The incumbent maintains accurate records and documentation, prepares HR documentation. Additional responsibilities include overseeing residence and housing unit inspections, issuing keys and parking passes and serving as a primary contact for facility-related inquiries while promoting a positive and productive work environment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Office Assistant Certificate; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Experience working in an administrative or facilities support role
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities with keen attention to detail, and the capacity to effectively multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
• Experience with MS Office applications
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with work order systems
• Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory control
• Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous cultures
